Central Puget Sound Chapter: Professional of the Year Award

The Professional of the Year Award honors a professional person or organization who, through their profession or their personal effort, has made a significant contribution to supporting the mission of WNPS “to promote the appreciation and conservation of Washington’s native plants and their habitats through study, education, and advocacy.” 

 

2016
Elizabeth Housley  is the Founder and sole proprietor of Our Future Environmental Consulting. She has acted as a consultant for WNPS and provided continuing education services to Green Seattle Stewards for the last three years. She shares her expertise in adult education, science translation and real-world ecological restoration with enthusiasm and vitality and also works as a researcher, project manager, lecturer, naturalist and writer.
