Sitka Alder
Habitat: Moist places from lowland to subalpine elevations.
Bloom time: Late winter to early spring, prior to the emergence of current season's foliage.
Range: Southern Alaska through Cascade and Olympic Mountains to Northern California and east through Washington and Oregon to Idaho and Montana.
