Bunchberry Dogwood

Habitat: Coniferous and mixed deciduous forests, forest openings, and bogs. Often growing in organic matter (decaying wood, duff, etc.)
Bloom time: June through April
Range: Found in California, the Pacific Northwest, and Alaska
